Beck is 10 months old!

Beck turned 10 months old this weekend. I can't believe my tiny little angel is such a big boy. Where has the time gone? I wish all of you could get to know Beck. He has a spunky personality, and he's always in motion. He is quick to smile and his eyes are filled with a playful spirit. I don't mean to gush, but the love you feel for your child is super overwhelming. Seeing such a tiny person grow into his own unique self is such an honor. Beck is more than I could have ever asked for in a son.

This weekend he took a step and balanced. He did this twice. Does this qualify as "first steps"? Witnessing these "firsts" are surreal. I even felt moved yesterday when he tasted his first piece of canteloupe. I'm just a tad sentimental! Besides the very exciting first steps, we had a nice weekend. Beck and I went to the climbing gym with Laura and Brewster. We all went to our friend Candace's 30th bday party, which more kids attended than adults. When did everyone start having kids? We were just kids a few years ago. Anyway, I finished knitting Baby Abell's booties in preparation for Mari's big return home to the states. Yay Mari! Finally, I expressed some gratitude to the universe for watering my vegetables, which were sadly wilting. (Brit- not only do I need blogging lessons, but gardening too!)

Well, besides all that I have been filled with ideas and aspirations lately. Alas, the time to blog is short, so for now you are stuck reading about weekend updates and looking at Beck photos. Speaking of, here is a slide show looking back at the first few months of the Beckers arrival on earth.

Here are some videos of Beck practice-walking with his push-toy from baby walking expert Ansley!

Ahhh! I love it all. I personally think blogs are the best thing invented thus far....I loved seeing beck-e-bu-pers walking. Yeah! Don't you just love how your furniture is in constant flux. Just wait till he is in to everything.

I loved the slideshow too. These websites like photobucket really do make it easy. Once he turns one we'll have to get you a "this time last year " section up on your right sidebar- super easy. As for now, we need to fix your links...there way long and hang out....disturbs my sense of order...let me think about what to do for that....

As far as the gardening tips go-- heres my rule of thumb- Live and learn...what doesn't work this year, do not do next year. Keep a journal.
LOVE you, britty
